Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country music singer/songwriter. Ashley Monroe was part of a group called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album, called Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she released The Blade. This album earned her acclaim and praise. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than 15 years. She was five of those years as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. In her role as Assistant Village Director, she oversees managing the Community Development and Building Department. Ashley is accountable for the daily operations at Riverside Village and also for implementing the strategy and vision of elected officials. Her previous roles included the municipal planning, budgeting for communications, staff management, collective bargaining, with a focus on climate action initiatives. Ashley's work with national agencies and work within communities with different populations has given her an understanding of how groups with all sizes operate. Ashley's courses focus on modern methods of leadership and management in the public sector from a perspective of an experienced professional. Ashley's focus on adapting to changing circumstances and challenges as well as navigating intergovernmental and community relations, and making ethical decisions will provide a framework for aspiring professionals and those currently working in public organisations.
